So, how's it work?

Our story began when our Managing Director needed some building work and was trying to find a reputable contractor he could trust to do the work. Although he knew there were hundreds of brilliant tradespeople out there, there were also lots of cowboys to avoid! If only there was a local company that could filter the good ones by checking, vetting, verifying and trusting them for you... And so Black Country Trusted was born.

Sure, there are national companies out there that claim to check or trust a trades person, but they also charge them huge fees for sending false leads.... In it for themselves to make a quick buck! 

Of course we charge companies a membership fee, but it's fair and there is one stand out difference... We have the best interests of both the companies AND consumers at the heart of what we do. 

We check everything relevant to a particular business. Reviews, viability, working conditions, cleanliness and value for money. Each member is vetted and scored in different areas. Only if they pass all sections can they declare themselves "Black Country Trusted".
